Join us for this immersive 2 hour workshop
In a world where many shy away from the touch of their own bellies, the “Love Your Belly”
workshop dares to break through those barriers. It recognizes the unspoken stories and
traumas that might have taken root in the very core of your being causing you to hold back and
suppress emotions. The "Love Your Belly" workshop is your invitation to break free from the
constriction of hesitation, transcend the shadows of trauma, and bask in the glorious light of
self-love and healing.
This workshop is an exploration that facilitates a transformation of your relationship with your
body and ignites a deep connection with your inner self. You will not only learn to appreciate the
intelligence of your body but also rekindle a loving relationship with your belly.
We will detoxify, energize and unveil the power of this often-misunderstood center through
ancient Chinese Taoist bodywork called Chi Nei Tsang (CNT aka Integrated Internal Organ
Massage), specialized abdominal massage techniques, corrective & meditative breathwork, and
energy work. It supports mental and physical health by improving digestion, immunity, reducing
stress, tension, pain, and scar tissue. Even years later, it’s not too late to heal.
What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing with drawstring or elastic waistband.
What to bring: water bottle, journal/pen, yoga mat, blanket (supplied by studio but limited)
DO NOT EAT FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR BEFORE WORKSHOP.
This workshop is for anyone who has:
Had surgery in the area of the torso
Given birth
Digestive problems
Both unexplained and/or diagnosed depression and anxiety
Unwanted belly fat
Wants to reconnect after rejecting touch or looking at their mid-section
Wants improved overall health
Abdominal work can be intense so it's important that participants are healthy enough to
receive this work without harm.
Contraindications:
1. Pregnant or less than 3 months post-partum
2. Pacemaker
3. IUD
4. Acute or unexplained health issues
5. Psychological aversion to pain
6. Pain, unmanaged or intolerable
7. Pain medications or muscle relaxants
