Quantum Spoon Bending – Your Thoughts Are Powerful!
By Ariana Bahret
Just how powerful are your thoughts? Powerful enough to bend metal? Actually, yes. But no one teaches us this!
When I first mention quantum spoon bending people think of the movie “The Matrix” when the child says “There is no spoon.” While this is completely possible (making metal physically bend on its own from just your energy – no touch involved), I teach people to make thick metal soft with their thoughts and then apply a light touch to bend the silverware. It’s still pretty phenomenal!
In the quantum spoon bending class I teach multiple techniques for students to make the metal malleable – so soft that you can bend your spoon or fork like a pretzel (we use more forks than spoons because its pretty impossible to bind the tines of the fork in the natural state. So once you’ve bent them, you know you are working with something more than brute strength! I also get the thickest silverware possible.)
On a scientific level we are accelerating subatomic particles of the metal which forces some of them into another dimension – yes, sounds “woo woo” but it’s not. While some of those tiny particles are in another dimension, the piece of silverware here in your hand becomes very soft for a short period of time. During that window of time you bend your silverware in a loop-d-loop, triangle, or whatever you’d like! But once those particles start to slow down, the metal becomes hard again and unbendable. Scientists have shown that tiny metal beads accelerated towards a wall will have slightly less mass after hitting the wall. This occurs only for a short amount of time. The mass will come back, but the metal beads had lost some of its mass from the acceleration. This is whats happening with the silverware and also explains the phenomenon of levitation.
My degree is in biology from B.C., I used to do genetic research, and I have taught science to a wide spectrum of students (from 3 year-olds to Ph.D.s). My passion for both science and spirituality is blended together in my energy healing work and metaphysical classes. The energy techniques I teach in the Quantum Spoon Bending class all have real life applications. It’s not just about bending metal – although that is a lot of fun. For example, the Spin Technique (see YouTube video for more info) comes from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and can be applied in both a direct and reverse way with our emotions. If you are experiencing anger, you can close your eyes, find the direction of the spin of energy of anger you are currently experiencing, and reverse the direction and energy of the spin to the fastest speed until the emotion of anger is gone. You can also use the Spin Technique in a positive direction. If you want to feel confident for a job interview, take some time a few days before and feel the emotion of confidence (think of a time in your life when you felt really confident). Once you bring up that feeling, connect to the direction of that spin for confidence, then accelerate it to the fastest possible speed. Then when its at that maximum speed tell it to stabilize there, and then anchor that physically to your body somehow like tapping your collar bone or placing your thumb and index finger together. Done. Now the emotion of confidence is anchored and available to you at any time. Right before you go on that job interview, do the physical activation (tap the collar bone, put your fingers together, whatever physical anchor you used) to pull up the emotion of confidence and voila – it’s there!
The most important thing (and possibly also the hardest) to take away from this class is that once you’ve put “your order” of bending the spoon out to the Universe, let it go. Don’t keep checking in on it or doing the technique over and over again! Trust that the order will be filled. If you keep checking on it, the energy never gets the chance to go where it needs to go to make that request happen. This is key to life! Think about it – if you go to a restaurant and place your order with a waiter but never let he or she go to the kitchen to place it you will never get your food. And I see this with the students in the quantum spoon bending class – who really trusts the process of life, that the Universe is taking care of everything? Hands down the answer is children. They bend the silverware 1st. They are totally in the moment, detached from the outcome and just enjoying. The 2nd group to bend easily tends to be skeptics because they don’t have as much invested. The 3rd group (and this is ironic but very telling) is usually those familiar with metaphysics and these principles. They tend to bend last because they have so much invested in the outcome. They “should” be able to do this! And right now! Because of this expectation the “order” never gets out to “the Kitchen of the Universe.”
