Please join me for an evening of deep restoration of the body and the mind, where I’ll guide you through a unique practice where I combine the amazing benefits of Restorative Yoga and Reiki.
Restorative Yoga Therapy is a practice to calm the mind and the nervous system, reduce stress promoting a sense of ease. All the postures are practiced on the floor, supported with blankets and blocks. Postures are held for longer periods of time to release tensions, not only in the fascia and in the deeper tissues of the body, but also and especially in the mind.
In addition, students will personally experience the healing practices of Reiki during the poses and final relaxation that I’ll be offering through the entire practice.
Reiki is an ancient hands-on healing modality practiced for centuries to balance the energy flow inside our body. Research has proven that Reiki helps the body return to a state of relaxation, which allows it to better heal from damage brought on by stress, injury or disease, while Restorative Yoga is proven to be beneficial in reducing insomnia, anxiety and depression.
Open to all level and conditions, no previous yoga experience required.
Please bring a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and 3 blankets (or beach towels).
I’m a certified Reiki Master of the Usui Shiki Ryoho Modalities and a Certified Yoga and Meditation teacher.
The Sutras teach us that “the mind is the cause and the solution to our sufferance”. When we cure the mind, we heal all the 5 layers of our being. In my practice, I assist my clients in their unique healing journey, offering them multiple tools to achieve physical, emotional and spiritual balance working with them one-on -ne or on a group setting.
