‘Honor Your Loved One Who Has Transitioned’
Come together in a virtual circle with others who have experienced the loss of a loved one. In this class, we’ll explore the different ways that people grieve. All ways of grieving are ‘normal’ for emotions that may never have been experienced before or are complicated if other losses were involved.
Why join this class?
It can be uplifting to shift focus from pain to love for your loved one and to share with those who understand.
Grief can cause you to feel vulnerable and isolated. Coming together with others who want to share and hear stories that will never fill the void left by your loved one but might be a salve for your broken heart.
Let’s explore how to honor our loved ones who have transitioned. Love is a two-way communication … in different languages. Our loved one is communicating with us through the language of signs, sightings, dreams and insights. Let’s explore ways to calm anxiety and build neural pathways to the side of the brain away from the trauma of loss, to the area of creativity, exploration and calm.
Let’s explore the idea that death is actually a love story.
We will set an intention at the beginning and end of the meeting for our loved ones to join us and also to be part of our daily lives, if that is what you want and what they want.
You will be encouraged to share a photo of your loved one when you share about their life, your relationship and the impact on you then and now in non-physical form.
We will discuss creating a space, an altar, a framed photo, a place on the mantel or somewhere in nature where you can go and connect with your loved one’s essence. We will explore how to carry that place inside you and take it with you wherever you go.
Life is both rational and mysterious, both of which are necessary to function in this world. We will explore the mysteries of life and death, grounded in perception. We will explore what each of us believes, as long as it feels safe to do so. That’s how we will begin our journey together.
